G's antidote to losing to the French was to bring home a french hitchhiker. He stayed a week and was one of the most caring, friendly, charming guests I've ever had the pleasure to host. He works as a kindy teacher in France and was TREMENDOUS with the children. He's gone off to Dannevirke now but he left his tent so he will be back!
