Martian

I got home last night to find a martian in my house.

G had Bax a "rocket man" helmet and a space ship. What an excellent rainy day game.

You will need:
One green dixie (this is a plastic container a bit like an ice cream container)
Two red bendy straws
One large sturdy cardboard box
A black felt pen
Scissors
Tape

Cut two eye holes in the dixie and draw stars, rockets and moons all over it. Make two small holes in the bottom of the dixie and poke one straw into each hole, bend the ends. This is your helmet. To make the rocket, cut away one side of the box. Cut a flap in another side and a round hole in the top. Cut two small holes for the arms, one on each of the remaining complete sides (are you still with me?). Cut two large right angle triangles and fasten them on these same sides, at the bottom.

Now. Bax puts on the helmet, then burrows into the box through the flap. Soon his head pops out the top. Then an arm comes flying out of each arm hole. Then he waddles around the house with his arms in the air saying ZOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!
