poor ol iz

Well to cut a long story short here's what just happened to Izzie:

G found an old bike.
Brought it home.
Doubled both kids round garden.
Iz put both fit into the spokes.
Ripped skin off ankle and foot.
Drove her to Emergency Department.
Not broken.
just swollen
At home with Nana all week.
Gran popping in to help.
it's raining.
week before Xmas.
Everyone going nuts.

poor Izzie. Back to crawling around like a baby.

So brave though and still smiling.

Christmas is coming

And everyday Izzie asks me with a hopeful grin "Is it Christmas today" and everyday I have to say no sorry not today soon. And she says "oh" a little let down but still hopefull.

Coupla days ago we put up our Xmas decos and when G got home Bax showed him. He pointed out the nativity scene and said to G "That's Jophes he's the Daddy, and that's Mary she's the Mummy and that's the baby" Then he called to me " Hey Mum what's that baby called again?"

Oh we really should explain the point of the whole parlava a bit better shouldn't we - nah - who are we kidding - it's all about pressies and food.

Daddy's a hero

Daddy and Bax went to the dump and Daddy found a big bag of toys. Well now Daddy's a real hero because he can conjure up toys from rubbish. Serious ol' Bax says about the soft toys in the collection - you can't play with them they've got germs. And of all the toys, we're playing with them for a little while and then we're taking them to the doctors. This is because Daddy said they should go to the Doctor's waiting room toy basket because it's so sad and pathetic.

Bax follows Daddy around all day and tells people how cool his dad is because he finds toys at the dump.

Our poor deprived children I think people whisper - their dad gets their christmas pressies from the dump.
